If you already have chargers installed at your home or business we can help you with a service and maintenance package. All chargers managed by Ascent Energy Services are added to our EV monitoring platform. This allows us to monitor your charge points remotely and, in most cases, troubleshoot and repair any issues before they cause you a problem. Depending on your package, we can also deploy an engineer to your site to rectify any problems that couldn’t be rectified remotely. For more information, take a look at our CPO packages.

Your home EV charge point.

A home EV charge point will provide you with the ability to charge your electric vehicle at quicker rates than a standard 3 pin plug socket. All the chargers we offer can provide 7kW charging which is typically the maximum charging speed for a domestic property with a single-phase electrical supply. This provides you with the piece of mind that you are getting the fastest possible charging speed available at your property.

The charger should be installed at the location where you park your vehicle, as there is typically a standard lead length provided either with your vehicle, or with your charge point, most commonly 5 meters. Most tethered chargers offer longer lead lengths as a configurable option.

A charge point with a lead permanently attached to the charger is know as a tethered charger. This type of charger provides added convenience as there isn’t a requirement for you to use your own lead when charging, however the charger itself will have a larger profile to hide the lead, or the lead will be coiled next to the charger and be visible when not in use. Socketed (untethered) chargers will be smaller and more compact but you will be required to supply your own lead..
