Do you offer professional installation? Yes. Installation is completed by fully qualified engineers in accordance with local UK electrical guidelines, wiring standards, and OZEV regulations. Does this charger require an additional earth rod? No. The TeltoCharge features built-in PEN fault protection architecture, meaning it safely handles network faults internally and removes the requirement for installing an expensive or intrusive external earth rod. What do I need to enable dynamic load balancing? The TeltoCharge supports dynamic load balancing using CT clamps, which are included as standard inside the package. Alternatively, it can also integrate with an external Smart Energy meter (not included in the package). Can it withstand extreme winter weather? Yes. The hardware is officially IP55 and IK10 rated. It is built with temperature sensors in all main components and has an operational temperature range from -30°C up to +50°C , making it completely reliable in harsh outdoor weather conditions.
